Hi! My name is Christina Metherall and I am the founder of Elucidate Consulting and Rise Mountain Adventures. I am an adventure athlete, guide, environmental consultant, and facilitator.

Rise Mountain Adventures started out as a dream - an idea that began with conversations among friends over tea (and hikes!) about how much our outdoor adventures brought us together - and about how much they taught us about ourselves - and helped us connect with our own joy, peace, strength, courage, and creativity.

I dreamed of a time when I could help others explore and experience the joy, freedom, confidence, and calm I found in the mountains.

For the past 10 years, I have helped communities steward land and water through my work with Elucidate Consulting. I have supported communities in addressing tough environmental and climate change-related challenges that require cooperation, fresh thinking, and creativity.

Over the years, as I facilitated hard conversations, I listened as Indigenous leaders shared that we must recognize our interconnectedness with nature and each other, in order to help solve our environmental and community challenges and lead a more connected, peaceful, and meaningful life.

And I realized that these two passions are not separate. If anything, in our world, we need more time to connect and ground and get inspired. And we need to spend time in relationship with nature to understand how to protect it.

Through Rise Mountain Adventures and Elucidate Consulting, I am excited to be offering guided hikes and forest wellness tours, nature-based team building events, and professional development activities that inspire the leaders of today and tomorrow to create a more sustainable, vibrant, and healthy future.
