Panorama Ridge

This challenging hike rewards with one of the most stunning views in BC! The trail rises through lush coastal rainforests, through stunning alpine meadows, and along a challenging rocky ridge to a spectacular view!

Good to excellent fitness is required to hike this as a daytrip. If you are wanting to do this hike, and having more average fitness, please contact us to book this a backpacking trip, so that you can base camp before and after the summit day.

Trail Distance: 28km, 1610m elevation gain

What to expect:

  • Begin with a long uphill climb at a gentle grade. Follow boardwalks through the beautiful Taylor Meadows and ascend Panorama Ridge. The trail up to Panorama Ridge is loose and rocky requires good footing and stability.

  • Your experienced hiking guide will provide instructions and a briefing before setting off.

  • Excellent mobility and fitness are essential to do this as a daytrip. You should have experience in the past month with hikes of at least 15km and 900m of elevation or 15km+ runs.
